The future of superheroes is multicultural

The future is not some processed new culture but whole cultures engaging in authentic cultural exchange.

Last weekend, on National Cinema Day, I took my family to see Blue Beetle. We loved it! It was fun, had a good message, and showed the strength of a family standing together against insurmountable odds. I regularly text with a group of friends that also love superheroes and we lamented that the energy Warner Bros. gave to The Flash (don’t get me started on this movie…Flashpoint Paradox was right there and they severely fumbled) should have gone to Blue Beetle.
